Stephen Ross says he had no contact with Cowher at all (yeah, just like the Panthers never talked to Jim Harbaugh) :sosp:

I actually think Ross would have pursued Cowher - and probably signed him - had he not gotten egg all over his face trying to get Harbaugh.
