Most famous celebrity you ever had a conversation with?

Played Connect Four at a bar in Atlanta with Bill Murray. That was probably the collest celebrity experience I've ever had.

Met Judge Reinholdt on a random day at the Little Rock Chamber of Commerce

Lots of politicians - Clinton being the most famous

Not sure if you count CEOs as celebrities but I've spent time with quite a few Fortune 500 CEOs

I've met numerous pro football players - won't bother listing them all

A few EPL players when I was in London

I have met a ton of sports figures and racers.

Most have been real a-holes! But as far as hanging out with them, only a few stick out.

Don "Big Daddy" Garlits. I had designed a 1/24 scale die-cast front engine dragster for 1320inc. (The series is called "The Fuelers".) 1320inc wanted to do a deal with Don Garlits where they would get the rights to produce several of his front engined top fuelers. They had tried to get ahold of him with no luck. So one day, I e-mailed him. Later that afternoon, "Big" called me. (Big Daddy has always been a hero of mine going back to the 60's when he won the US Nationals in Indy. He beat the West Coast boys which was unheard of! So much so, that NHRA made him race the next day again before they would declare him the winner!)

We talked, I opened the door for 1320inc to do a series of deals with him. About 2 weeks later we went down to Ocala and hung out with him for 2 days!

Eric Dickerson. Pro RB of the Indianapolis Colts. My buddy and I went down to Atlanta to meet him at a card show he was doing. We ended up hanging out with him all afternoon and into the evening. We had a blast!

Keyshawn Johnson. I had call duty and the work phone rang. This guy wanted to buy a condo here in Charlotte. It needed a pool for his kids to swim in when they came to visit him. I asked his name and he said "Keyshawn." I said, Like the All Pro Wide Receiver Keyshawn Johnson. He said, Yep, that's me. We spent about an hour of chatting, I said I could send him some listings to look over. He said, I would have to send them to Dallas, because that is where he was moving from. He said to wait a week before I sent them to him. (He said he didn't use e-mail.) He was taking him kids to Disney World, and had to meet a couple of guys to sign some papers. (Of course, the "couple of guys" were Fox and Hurney and he was signing his contract to join the Panthers!)

I welcomed him to the Carolina Panthers and to Charlotte and that I would send him the information. Not at all what I thought he would be. He was articulate and seemed like a really cool family guy. I had to pass him off to another agent, I was in my wheelchair, and she couldn't seal the deal with him. He ended up buying from another agent.

Bob Feller. He was really cool to talk with. Told jokes, was really a nice guy to talk wth.

The classiest man I EVER met has to be Tony Hulman! Owner of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and just about everything in Terre Haute, Indiana. I was in college and about 19 years old. I was walking downtown (I graduated from Indiana State Univeristy in Terre Haute, IN) I walked by the First Bank of Terre Haute. I looked up and there was Mr Tony Hulman!

I almost ran into him! I said, "You're Tony Hulman!" He held out his hand and said, "And you are?"

I forgot my name for an instant! Finally, I shook his hand and remembered my name. I had an ISU t-shirt on. he asked me what I was studying, (Of course Rose-Hulman College is named after him.) we chated for a while. He had this knack of making you feel like he was just a regular guy. He was one of few people that I cried when I had heard that he passed away. (I hope my Father didn't find out, he would have

seen that as a sign of weakness! (Men crying.)

I have met a lot NASCAR folks, most of which are dicks. Honostly, back in the 90's drivers were more down to earth, but nowadays they are mostly asses (prolly because people *** with them all the time).

I have met senators and representatives (federal and state), all of which are fake. No surprise there.

I do remember being out somewhere with some buddies and we were making fun of this dude because he looked like Corey Pavin. Turned out it was him.

Probably met others, but since I spent the majority of my 20's in an alcoholic haze, I don't remember.

Met Elizabeth Taylor way back when I worked security with Belks. I believe she was doing the rounds for the Launch of a perfume. She had some ex-Israli commando guy as her body guard. I think she applied her make-up with a putty knife.

Also met Melissa Gilbert when she filmed a movie here. She was a royal bitch. She didn't like people looking at her, but got all huffy when you didn't...actling like everyone should bow down before her.

I forgot about politicians.

Lee Hamilton and Birch Bayh, both from Indiana. Birch was a Senator and ran for President once, but didn't make it out of the Primaries. Lee Hamilton was a powerful House of Represetatives from Indiana. He used to be on CSPAN, until he retired.

My Father also knew some state Rep. I can remember going to their house and playing several times as a kid. I don't remember who he was.

We used to have one of Barry Bodine's (Geoff's Son) cars in our shop. He used to get it and race every so often. Nice Kid, gorgeous girlfriend!
