AJ Green or Nick Fairley

Our offense being worst in the league was not the fault of WR's. Everyone read that a few times, let it sink in, ponder its meaning.

AJ Green would have been no more productive than any of our other receivers in the offense this past season. The problem is at the Coordinator level and the QB level, not the WR's.

getting a receiver isn't about it being the main problem.. the main problem was coaching, IMO and can point out several reasons why.. the 2nd was QB...

the object in getting a receiver for your already bad offense means you have more weapons. not just for the defense to think about, but so whatever QB is there has more options.

Having a real threat at WR (something we don't have at hte moment) opens up your offense tremendously.. it helps your running game, helps your bad QB, helps your other receivers get open, it helps with playcalling, and game planning..

to get the offense we need to compete in the NFL today you NEED not only a big threat, but a lot of threats..

having 2 young WRS (who are #2 at best) and one old one is not going to cut it..

when you can get a DT in FA and acquire a young talented, big receiver, I don't see the dire need in drafting a DT.. I would say go FA for a WR, but I don't see any who will come here before they resign to their team.. nevermind they are the main threat on their current team, to which that team will do everything to make sure they stay.

DT, there are some options to help our already good defense who we now acquired one of the top dog defensive minds..

also, this isn't about needs right now so much as for the future.. it all benefits, so when we do get our QB, whoever that may be.. we have things set in place, both at DT and WR..

the draft isn't the only place to get a DT... I have a feeling it is for WR..

with better coaching, I'm not sold Matt Moore (if brought back) wouldn't be somewhat okay, esp with another receiver to help all aspects on offense.. (that's if we can't find anyone better for now)

    • We can't afford to reach for one of the first round QBs this year. I would love for nothing more than Bryce to be the reason we don't even scout the bastards
