there appear to be alot of DTs in the draft. we could get Green and a very solid DT if it wasnt for that GD armanti edwards move...pffffff. I mean the least they could have done is let the dude play QB instead of bringing in Brian Saint Pierre. At least if would have been interesting. by the way , why not give the kid a shot at QB. I cant find much film on youtube , are his mechanics that bad? he threw for 10k how bad can they be?

QB most likely won't be addressed this year.. the best thing we could do is bring in Orton to play for 3-4 years while we find "the guy" and coach him up for a year, 2, or 3.. (I say that is the best we could do, I realize it could cost a 3rd or whatever we can negotiate; which most likely will be a next year pick)

TE there are some options in FA, in the draft, or hell, we might have 2 on the roster already (Rosario and Barnidge)..

everything will be evaluated, and I feel good about Rivera so let's see what he does.. after all, he's the one putting the team together the best he can figure out..

I would rather beat off and lay a football on top of the pud and see what happens then give the ball to Orton. Seriously man, I dont want my team with another GD game manager. At least Jimmy showed some grit in close games. Orton doesnt appear to believe in himself.

I would go with McNabb.. I guess the choice falls in with which type of offense we run. if it's a WCO, then I'd be fine with McNabb..

I can see people bitching about picking up either, but if anyone wants to be somewhat competitive and think we have a chance on game day, then these are our options..

put Clausen on the bench, he should not be playing for 2 years at least..

as far as Kolb.. The Eagles have got to be joking expecting 2 1st round picks for Kolb.. he isn't worth 2 2nd rounders.. It would be interesting to see Kolb here, I know he wants to start.. but I'll be rather disappointed to see him come in for anything more than a 2nd, or even better, a 3rd..

here's the thing.. beggers can't be choosers.. lol What other options are there? You will HAVE to accept that he or McNabb are our best options until we find a franchise QB...

you can't get Peyton Manning to hold us over until we find our own QB...

face it, this is how it will be the next year or 2.. (and we could have to wait longer..)

yeah, they better get real about Kolb. I think they will come off of that price though, they have to. You never know , the jimmy lol may come around. its amazing what some guys can do when you give them a little time to throw the ball. I expect a balanced offense for the first time in years. God I cant stand John Fox.

The good thing is that Rivera and McDermott will damn sure address the DT position....even if we do not take Fairely with the #1 pick.

Rivera knows how critical it is for an agressive defense to get significant pressure from the front 4......like he did in his Chicago days.

If you have to get pressure from blitzing, it leaves your defense vulnerable if you don't get there.

Pressure from the front 4...then blitz when you want to. Not because you have to.

DT definitely needs addressed.. no doubt about that..

CBA is really going to complicate things..
