AJ Green or Nick Fairley

So bleys is skirting the question by saying "I think he is the best choice" and this Daniels dude who put his fat out of shape photo as his profile pic is a puss all together and will not even man up. What a clown. You know what the smart pick is but you have your emotional choice of green but you want stand by it and go in record and say he will go #1. I will even say he will not go #1 even if we trade the pick

Ok, its official. You are an incurable idiot. First, I'm 6ft2 and I weigh about 165, often heckled by my friends for being the only one still that skinny. I'm not saying im in incredible shape, but to look at a picture of me and call me fat is laughable. I get the feeling you are laughed at often though.. Second, I did a simple yahoo search and came up with countless links to Mayocks opinions on Clausen, which got worse and worse the closer the draft got.

And third, most of us have already stated who we would like to be picked #1, including myself IN THIS THREAD!

How about reading around instead of making yourself look like you gave up after failing 6th grade for the 4th time?

It really doesn't take balls to say we will draft Green .What we say on this board won't

make a bit of difference.I say Panthers will make a mistake and not pick Green.

But who knows maybe they realize we had the most pitiful offense I've ever watched

in 40 years last year,The JETS ARE -PLAYING SOME GREAT DEFENSE but look at talent

at wide out .They are also aggressive on that side of the ball. Its the talent around their

average QB They have really upgraded at the skill positions.

i'm pretty sure this dude is Nick Fairley. his posts are like the internet equivalent of a yank to the facemask.

pop a xanax brah.

It would take quite a bit of evidence to convince me that this guy was able to qualify for ANY college. I really have to stop arguing with him, I'm getting dumber by the minute and I can't afford much.

Read the question again. Who do you think? Not who do you want. Sorry bro I see belly

Who knows? We still have the combine to come, pro days, and interviews. No one has a clue who WILL be picked, and its way to early to make predictions. I will, though, make the following prediction: You will, eventually, get your GED. Dont give up just yet.

It's hard for people to understand that... Two number one WR'S a top notch TE and two excellent rb's to help an average qb get the job done. You have to surround the qb with multiple weapons to be successful.

Don't forget a great Offensive Coordinator.

Fact #1.....we are NOT going to solve or come close to solving our QB problem this year. We will either rent a mid tier QB for a season or two or go into next yera with Moore/Clausen. Neither solves the problem.

Fact #2....Add a disruptive DT to our DE's of Johnson, Brown, and Brayton and the DLine is immensely better.

Fact #3....we have a stable of stud LB's.

Given the issue with QB, adding a rookie WR will NOT solve our offensive problems. Add a couple of pieces to the defense and have it be coached by Rivera and the defense could be nasty.

One option is to add a RG....add the defense pieces....and lean on a nasty defense and running game until we can find a QB.

For that reason, I think there is a slim to none chance that Green is the #1 pick.

you can do all of that and still get Green.. and again I'll say, WR wasn't why we sucked last year.. for reasons mentioned already.. we need another one, whether draft or FA.. I think we're going to find that FA WR's will sign with their respective teams, and there are a few options for DT in FA..

and we can still lean on the running game with a stout defense... while adding a WR to replace the threat Smitty used to be..

I think what you laid out is most likely what will happen, if we don't trade down, but I'm pointing out why it would be smarter to take Green... (reason being you can add another threat and still accomplish what you've said; that threat is important for years to come on our offense)
