AJ Green or Nick Fairley

Yeah you guys are right stats don't matter lol. What is wrong with gettis and lafell.? Our DTs are terrible. WRs are abundant DTs are not

there are available DTs in FA.. go do some research and you'll see..

WRs aren't abundant... I'm not sold any won't resign with their current team..(of those worthy)

nothing is wrong with Gettis an LaFell.. what's wrong is you want another threat, although I'm not sold either are going to be more than #2.. so you either have WR by committee or get a real threat.. either way, you need more than 2-3 receivers if you want a potent offense..

Is this a serious post guys? You want to draft a receiver #1 overall. We have a ton of young receivers we need a QB. Fairley could change the D overnight. Green wouldn't make a difference at all possibly thank god they don't let fans draft

Ok so if Fairley can change the D overnight how do we improve the offense which is more important, we only need minor improvements on D but serious help on the OFFENSIVE SIDE. I posted a good breakdown in another thread that I might post for you but think about the Cowboys O. They have three number one WR's because they drafted the Dez this year, pass game equals sixth in the league. Even with Kitna running the show half the year because they have many options to go to.

I wouldn't exactly call Fairley a stud DT based on one season, but the other guy is definitely a stud WR.

AJ dominate three seasons Nick one

Our offense being worst in the league was not the fault of WR's. Everyone read that a few times, let it sink in, ponder its meaning.

AJ Green would have been no more productive than any of our other receivers in the offense this past season. The problem is at the Coordinator level and the QB level, not the WR's.

We're not in the same offensive mindset of LAST SEASON remember that when taking into account what we are trying to do.

Ok we had the 16th ranked D wit NO DT's like most people are saying are you all seriously going to say that wasn't also attributed to our lack of offense.

We were three and out machines best way to fix that is put a dynamic player on the offensive side of the ball.

My post

They won't be buried on the depth chart you really do have to look at GB and thier recievers or even Pittsburg you need several options. First you have to get out of the Fox mindset two wideouts two tight ends bland vanilla formations. Three and four wideout sets are NORMAL aggressive, attacking stlyles nowadays. They will get plenty of playing time matching Smith up against the nickel back hmmmm let's think about that or even Lafell against a lb or fourth db. We are looking to attack not play conservative ball, think about San Deigo L. Naanee, P. Crayton B. Davis, M. Floyd and V-Jax with a probowl tight end that's what you call an attacking offense. Yea we don't have Rivers or Rodgers but you have to give your qb multiple weapons so he can become that guy. Just think about that for a moment.

Im still undecided but if we can get the average production (rookie year) of lets say A. Johnson/C. Johnson thats about 800 yds with 5 td's add in the fact that niether went to a team with a legitimate RUN GAME. Just my thoughts when factoring in revamping the last ranked offense in the league.:yikes:

Fact is any coach or gm in our position would draft fairley over green. So what will you guys say when fairley is drafted? Oh these guys don't know football lol

that's just bullshit, you don't know what all GMs would do.. I've told you plenty of reasons why a GM would take Green over Fairely... you haven't told me one reason why you can't get a DT in free agency and grab another WR for this horrible offense who doesn't have a true #1..

Smitty is old, the 2 new WRs aren't huge threats.. stack your offense with WRs and your already good run game.. find a QB.. get DTs in FA.. majority of problems addressed..

I'm trying to decide if I should be embarrassed to also be a newbie, or elated that this guy is lowering the bar...

yeah that falcons game last night certainly proved that, as i said before i would love to see this team have as many options as green bay does on offense.

picking green we could arguably have one of the best receiving cores in the league up there with the packers and the giants

green getts lafell and with or without smith is a nice lineup.
