With New Orleans right behind us and wanting a QB and good for us it's most likely going to be Sanders. We have a huge opportunity to pick up some draft capital and drop a couple of spots. We'll still get a high caliber player in a position of need.

More importantly we screw New Orleans.

Go Panthers

Mcshay and other analysts are speculating the Saints could just pick BPA, roll with rattler, clear some cap space next off season and go for a qb in the next draft where there are some very talented dudes that potentially could come out.  In short, Arch in new orleans with a rebuilt roster and with cap space would be a problem.  I guess we will see what happens in a week

I don't know if their new HC came onboard for a tanking effort.

And when was the last time the Saints decided to go into full rebuild mode? Seems like they are always convinced they are just a couple players away from a playoff spot.  I think other teams will be predicting they want a QB with the first pick whether that turns out to be true or not.

I think their cap situation and aging players, coupled with who the fug knows what happens with Olave, then now they could be convinced to tear it to the studs and that takes a minimum 2 years at best.  No better time then doing it with a coach in his first year.  I can see this roster and rattler easily getting them a top 3 pick

Arch Manning to the Saints would be a interesting story. They almost killed his dad.

Thats actually the smart thing to do, but of course a lot of people are just gonna assume every other team is gonna do the stupid thing instead of the smart thing except for us.

I think they most likely gave some assurances that he has time to build but I wouod be very surprised if they opted to tank straight out of the gate. I mean it may happen anyway, regardless.

I am gonna be honest, I will have to see a lot from Arch to understand this hype. If he is this massively generational player, why has he never been able to beat out a 3rd to 5th round pick in a very, very weak QB draft?

I don't recall Lawrence or Luck needed this time on the bench in their "generational" career arcs.

Wasnt moore like their 5th option if we are being honest?  I think any sane coach can look at that roster, cap space etc and understand this is going to take time and no way its done over night.  There is a world where moore sold them on just ripping this thing down and rebuilding the right way without these insane contracts.   I guess we will see during the draft

I think its just the connection with the family that may have NO tank this season to get him
