and what do you call our DTs?? can you even name them?

what do you call a defense ranked 12th in the league, had to play on the field longer than any other defense, and just brought in one of the best defensive minds in the league while unable to name our DTs?

you just helped me explain my point better than anyone.. you deserve rep! ;)

I would argue that a competent QB will be more beneficial than improved DT play in an either/or situation. I will also say that Fairley could have an immediate impact if we stay at #1, and that a QB at #1 from the pool available would help less than Fairley.

Fairley likely won't have an immediate impact... unless he is Suh, which he isn't. Fully expect him to take 2-3 years to show up as the playmaker you all think he is..

there is no way you announce at your high school you're going back to college. that's all sorts of weird.

anyway, I don't care who we draft because no matter who it is, this team has too many holes for the #1 to fix. I'm not overly excited about any prospect, but I am excited about the draft overall and FA.

I don't think he'll be all that this year. I'm thinking 1-2 good plays a game and average play the rest of the time... which is still more than we had last year. WR looks fairly solid this year, but another set of hands definitely couldn't hurt. Either one would be a solid pick.
