You would have a point if Clausen didn't make the offence look even more poo.

Pickles was the QB too. And Fox wasn't the GM on that one. Seriously, the Pats wouldn't be able to do poo with Clausen. Between Clausen and Edwards Hurney screwed up. I haven't given up on Edwards because even on the few plays he was in on, he was better than Clausen, but this is the year to start judging him.

This team also hasn't brought in one significant free agent since 08. Which falls on JR getting his sons out of there and becoming cheap. We got a couple of guys in 08 like Brayton, Vincent, Hackett and Johnson, but we were still cheap. And the year before in 07 our only FA was Deke Cooper. For four years worth of FA, that is pretty sad.

I don't want to become the Redskins but we can't skip FA 3 out of 4 years while at the same time keep trading future picks such as Everette Brown for a 1st.

The Pats took a kid who hadn't played QB since he was in a high school .....and then proceeded to go 11-5 on the year using smoke and mirrors.
