Been to Austin a few times. Really fun place and yes, lots of live music even good salsa bands.

My suggestion is to be sure and eat at a place called "Guero's" some great Mexican (not being a racist) food. it's just across the river past Joe's Crab Shack.

They have a Dave and Busters and if you get bored, try the "Yellow Rose." You will thank me later....:D

Good luck Hep and although it can be scary, never ever give up. Always follow your dreams....

Guero's was in Quentin Tarantino's Death Proof. I went there when I visited but there's a fish taco place just down the road for MUCH cheaper ;)

AH! THATS why that name is familiar. That movie was on TV the other night. Such a sick fuged up movie. Entertaining to watch though :)

hahaha yeah, I was the same damn way when I first watched it.

I only saw it b/c the ex bf asked for it for Christmas when we were dating and it was right around when some cool version of it came out. He was really into Quentin Tarantino and ALL the grindhouse movies.

So, I go buy it and hes like lets watch it tonight! Yeah, lets just say, I dont have a queasy stomach, I mean, I can watch that kind of stuff, but I did NOT expect it to be so gruesome. The head on collision is probably the worst scene in there, other than the very end where she kicks his head with her boot.

I really like Rosario Dawson too.
