For those upset we might not draft offense with #1...

Answer these questions for me:

1) Which team is going to trade with us?

2) Why would said team want to trade with us instead of staying where they are at where they can still get good value?

3) What would said team give up to trade with us? (Remember, if a CBA isn't in place, then you can't trade players)

1) there is always a team. Call Al Davis I am sure he will deal

2) there are always teams that have x player overhyped and think he is THE one that will turn their team around.

3) whatever we can get, we have holes to fill

Bowers. The kid is going to be a great DE for years to come. DE's, QB's are worth taking #1 overall. Da'Quan Bowers and or Fairley brings instant pass rush from the front 4.

I'd be much higher on the Bowers bandwagon if we needed a DE. He's a great DE. Fairley isn't worth the pick. Hello, Mr. Dorsey.

At the end of the day we need to draft a position that isnt readily available any year in free agency. Any given year you can more than likely fill any of our position needs except one, QB. How often do you see great QB's hit free agency? Answer: Never. Every other position has a good player or 2 in free agency every season. Thats why we need to look at Gabbert first overall.

You know what makes great DB's? A great pass rush! Draft Dline

actually, that couldn't be further from the truth.. it usually takes 2-3 years for rookie DLinemen to catch up to the NFL due to hand technique, and well, technique in general..
