Rob Chudzinski is the Panthers lead target for OC

You've got to be f**king kidding me. Did we not learn our lesson with Davidson and hiring Brown's former OCs? Why do we keep trying to suckle from the teet of failure!?!?

Besides, Chud is way too close to choad. Do not want!

As I said when everyone was freaking out about Perry Fewell being a former Giants D.C. just like Fox - two completely different situations. Chudzinski has more experience with the Chargers than the Browns. He was the TE's coach in SD for years, helping to develop Antonio Gates, before he went to Cleveland, and has been in SD ever since Mangini took over the Browns.

He's as far from Jeff Davidson as Rivera is from Fox.

I think we've got some football to play before we evaluate Rivera as a better Head Coach than Fox. Annointing Rivera as our savior is stupid-silly. He's got a big hole to dig this team out of.

That being said, I'm encouraged by his success at upgrading San Diego's D, but running a whole team is a vastly different thing. Is it too much to ask that we see what he does in, say, the next 12 to 24 months before we make these sorts of assertions? (Lockout pending).

Co-sign on the Chudzinski band-wagon, anyone who can emphasize attacking the middle of the field short, intermediate, and deep with the TE to finally open up YAC for WR's underneath will be great.

Also coming from a team like SD I look to see us attack vertically more, off of more than PA. I'd like to see the 6'3 Gettis and 6'2 LaFell (hoping for a 6'4 Green) to keep safeties out of the box along with giving Smith more room to be who he is.

Chud is just who Rivera wants. like I said, Hurney is being more assertive this time after Fox brought in Davidson. Hurney wants someone fancy and awesome, not another conservative.

Are you suggesting that conservatives can't be fancy and awesome?

Have you seen me play Just Dance 2 while drunk? If that aint fancy and awesome, I just don't know what is.
