Rob Chudzinski is the Panthers lead target for OC

Just a history footnote here, The KGun offense ran by the Buffalo Bills in the 90's to 4 straight superbowls was not named after Jim Kelly. It was named after Keith McKeller the TIGHT END, who the offense was originally geared around.
Hopefully we will have the same success with it, we need a TE first though.

I'm still not a fan at all of this OC though.

I mentioned in the other thread that no disrespect is intended, but idk who the F this guy is... I've looked into his background and honestly, there have been several other names that have been mentioned that I'm much more interested in.

I don't find another guy who came from Cleveland, and actually was let go from Cleveland before going to SD and was replaced eventually by Jeff Davidson to be a good candidate, lulz... No thanks.

Chudzinski runs a smash mouth type of football. Runs the ball and likes to use the TE's to open up the seams. Don't know how creative he is. But, our personnel seem to fit his style of football. He did make Derek Anderson look like an actual QB.

You guys are going to let a little thing called Cleveland scare you. He would've gotten our OC job after Cam left had he not already taken the Browns job in 07, and if Shelmon resigned tomorrow, he'd get it. If he can be trusted with the keys to the most prolific offense in the league last year, then I don't see why he couldn't work with yours.

As for TEs, I could see them bringing in McMichael as a vet presence type guy, since he's available.

I don't know about this guy. It sounds like he can give us improved TE play, but what about the rest of the offense.

What happened to Marc Trestman as a candidate. I like the fact that he is a QB coach and was OC for the superbowl constestant 2002-2003 Raiders. (Which had the number one offense that season.) Listen to these the Saint's fans talk about him, particularly the second post.

Something has that guy scared about us getting Trestman.
