My Guess Who Rivera's FA QB Is Gonna Be....

Getting back on track...I think Boller may work out given he has the knowlegde, not too old and could legitimately start. I'm not saying the guy is going to come in and shatter records, but a stable veteran who happens to be a former first rounder is worth considering.

i don't even want boller in the "stable veteran" role. the guy is terrible. i'll go look up the stats in a minute, but if i recall correctly from looking back at delhomme stats, i think boller is either the worst or among the worst in the league among active quarterbacks in terms of completion percentage, QB rating, % of passes intercepted, net yards per pass attempt, and a whole poo-ton of other things.

Still better than Hasselbeck was. Won more games too.

Seems better than Volek (hasn't really played since '04 and is 34) or Gradkowksi who is injury prone.

Please read the below bullet points and think about what you are saying...

-Seneca Wallace was a backup to Hasselbeck the majority of his career.

-The only times that Seneca started were when Hasselbeck was injured.

-He was traded from Seattle to the Browns for A CONDITIONAL 2011 PICK...

-Last season Seneca was the back up to none other than Jake Delhomme to start the season.

-Seneca Wallace only played in 4 games last year and only thew for over 200 yds in one game (229)

he is a good 3rd string QB at best with some WR capabilities.

Well yeah Hasselback had been playing for like 7 years before that

-The only times that Seneca started were when Hasselbeck was injured.

And he put up way way better stats with the same team. Almost every category

-He was traded from Seattle to the Browns for A CONDITIONAL 2011 PICK...

Meaningless

-Last season Seneca was the back up to none other than Jake Delhomme to start the season.

Outplayed him too. Put up good numbers for the browns

-Seneca Wallace only played in 4 games last year and only thew for over 200 yds in one game (229)

Check all his other stats.

he is a good 3rd string QB at best with some WR capabilities.

incorrect

I'm a stats guy by trade

If you want stats I can give you stats all day

use some.. I didn't mention it for nothing.. you're trade doesn't mean poo to me when you're talking football... I know good damn well that smart people come up with stupid f**king opinions all the time.. ;)

there are plenty of intelligent people on this forum that can't dissect football if their life depended on it..

this topic doesn't mean anything to me, but it might as well be said that if someone wants to throw poo at the wall to see if it sticks, they ought to provide a little proof to at least help their case...

if you show me something credible that makes a little sense and at least have a point, I will respect that.. but it gets old hearing dumb poo.. yanno? :)
