In all seriousness though, if we keep the first pick you have to go with the biggest need as no player is worth the #1 overall draft pick and that would leave us with either Nick Fairley, Patrick Peterson (If Richard Marshall is not re-signed), or A.J. Green if Smith leaves. I personally want Newton but would take any of those four, but I don't think you can have 4 sig pics or 4 avatar pics.

If we keep the #1, Fairley is the guy. We will complete the defensive side of the ball to keep us in games while retooling the offensive side of the ball. I see little difference in direction as when Fox took over in 2002. The defense was a quicker fix than the offense and that's the road they took.

As to the shove of the helment, that's freaking kid's play. The guys complaining about that have already black-balled Fairley from their draft 'wish' list.
