If Fairley=Sapp & Green=Andre J who then??

If we were having a draft that included former and current players, I would draft Warren Sapp a full ten rounds ahead of where I would draft Andrea Johnson, if not more. Johnson is a very good wide reciever. Sapp is a hall of fame defensive tackle and probably in the top five all time among defensive tackles. Andrea Johnson might have a chance at the hall of fame but it's not likely given guys like Chris Carter and Andre Reid still are on the outside looking in. Not to mention Andrea Johnson wouldn't be in the top10 all time reciever list.

who is Andrea johnson?

the problem is comparing 2 unproven rookies to probowl/hall of fame players.

Which is true very hard to compare I'm just wondering for our current team if both turn out to be elite players I just choose those names (Sapp/Johnson) but Im thinking elite players who would you rather have for our CURRENT team? Great dt become a dominating defense for years to come or an elite wideout and probably be unstopable given a great pair of rb's and a deadly recieving core.

LOL I don't have a clue who Andrea Johnson is.

I didn't see the question as "an elite DT or WR" as ncbobcat suggested. Mainly because I don't see Andre Johnson as an elite WR, at least not in the same context as Sapp is an elite DT.

If what trucpfan was wanting was a set comparable players, then I would have went with Warren Sapp and Randy Moss. Then you are looking at some great dialoge and from that may come some insight on who would be a better pick between Fairley and Green.

I liked the question and the purpose behind it. Just would have changed the choice for the WR.
