Doesn't Wannstedt run basically the same system as Meeks? I know they both worked for the Cowboys in the 90's when they were drafting all of those smaller, faster DT's. It was the same defense that the Canes ran when Wannstedt was at Miami.

Because the HC does more than call plays... There are very very very few teams that don't have the HC, OC, DC chain of command.

If you ask me, it's looking like the scheme won't change much, if at all. We will see though.

Meeks scheme DOES NOT fit in with the past defensive style of Rivera.

We will have a DC, but the HC will hire someone who has a similar philosophy on the defensive scheme.
