If We Don't Go QB in the 1st Round, Who is Your QB?

Say we go Green, Fairley, or another non-QB and don't trade down in the 1st.

Who do you think could come in and provide legitimate competition to be a starter?

I've already said I'd like to take Jake Locker, but I think he's gonna go in the 2nd so I don't know if we'll be able to.

Other than him, I like Tyrod Taylor.

Who would you prefer? Colin Kapernick is interesting as well, but I think he's gonna get broke in half in the NFL.

Jimmy for one more year + vet.

having Jimmy start again is pointless. Not simply b/c he is garbage but b/c he limits the growth/improvement/play of everyone else on offense.

Carolina has to have some one not named Clauen start week 1.

we stick with jimmy for another year with a new coaching staff and an offseason with him as the man. get a vet to carry the clipboard.

if it works, great. if he is no better next year then we draft a QB next year with our early first and hope for luck.

i'm not too far from hoping for luck next year. jimmy will either do well or make luck available to us again.

it's not like we were going to be playoff bound in 2011 anyways.

That's what I think.

Maybe not starting Jimmy limits his growth and development as a player.

And so what? If he sucks, then we've put ourselves in place to draft Andrew Luck next year.

No doubt we need a vet, I have mentioned McNabb, Alex Smith, Troy Smith, or VY... But, what is they just bring MM back as the vet?

saying MM is a vet is using the word pretty loosely. just because you have ben in the league for a few years doesn't mean much.

if we are going to have a vet QB brought in i would rather have had him started for a few years.
