"I wonder how he like's Carolina Blue" Fairley Thread

I am not onboard the defensive tackle with the first wagon. Fairley is not SUH. I think DT is a deep position this year. I trust our scouts and new HC to find diamonds in the rough. Mike Blanc, Jarvis Jenkins, Drake Nevis, Sione Fua and Marvin Austin could all be available with our third round pick. We should throw tons of money at Nnamdi Asomugha and draft AJ Green. Then add two young DT's later in the draft.

We gonna get either DT, DE, or CB with #1 pick. FA list for WR looks very good. Green is no Andrey Johnson or Calvin Johnson... Those 2 are massive WR with amazing body control. Green weights atleast 20lbs less than those 2. Green reminds me of much slower Randy Moss.

Now there is a possibility of us not resigning Charles Johnson and picking Bowers. I wouldnt mind this, if we try to sign Ngata or maybe find a way to grab a beast/above average DT. However, I believe it is far more likely to resign CJ and draft Fairley. Maybe Rivera has some insight on a possibility.

I sure hope not, proven commodity > prospect.

Fairley shoots the gap a lot--they turn him lose. He is a stud--I like the attitude. Green could give us a playmaker for 10 years, and Peterson could shut down 1/2 a field. Newton is a stud who could become a pocket pass-run threat. This is tough, people.

Gabbert, Mallet, Locker. They may be good QB's but none of them are worth the #1 overall pick. The FO is also not going to give up on Jimmy yet, and I don't think they should either. He played in the most pathetic offense in the league as a rookie with an underachieving line. He could still turn out to be a decent quarterback and, either way, we're going to trade for or sign a solid veteran QB (Orton or Kolb, for example). Another Rookie QB is NOT what we need. If we pick #1 it will be Bowers, Green, Fairley or Peterson.

This is 100% accurate.
