People just need to stop trying to determine whether or not he is worthy of #1 based of one performance. Oregon has a good D and had over a month to prepare for this game.

I'm still on the fence about who to take with the pick. To me, it's between Newton and Green.

Lol at people saying Newton can't pass when he threw for 150+ in the first half without the aid of an 81 yard bomb.

That pass to Lutzenkirken was a thing of beauty. Perfectly thrown. Hard to catch him in stride just because he is a couple steps slower than Blake and Zachery, but still a great throw (go ahead, say it was his first read, say he was wide open, blah blah blah. Still made a great pass, stfu).

I don't know about good D. They are getting punked at the LOS. That throw by Newton he had a long time to sit there and wait to make that throw.

I think with Gamble's inability to get on the field at the end of the season and Marshal's uncertain future with the team makes peterson a very likely pick. Couple that with a very deep draft at DT and lafell and gettis' improved play, i think you can safely pass on fairley and green.
