think all of lucks touchdowns were blown coverages hater. The coverages were blown because of the threat of the run by Cam.

I

:willy_nilly:

You forget there will be no Threat to run by cam in the NFL. Vick is faster and is really the only legit scrambling QB that make defenses completely gameplan for his scrambling abilities and Cam is no vick.

Even with 2 TDs, Cam has shown no pocket passing skills. He has no chance of going #1 overall. At least I hope not!

Are u kidding me??!! If you have dvr go back to the play...Cam's first read is #89 who was lined up to his far left..he ran the In route..you clearly see Cam look his way...he noticed he was covered, looked to his 2nd read and made the throw..and remember..sometimes the wide open throws are the hardest to make..you even see that from the pros..he should be the panthers pick

    • Same... With the personnel the Niners had, that defense could have been historically good in the right hands. Under Wilks they were certainly good, they didn't quite rise to that level. Honestly, I see Wilks kinda like I see Rivera: fantastic person, decent head coach. Skill wise, phenomenal DB coach, so-so DC. His greatest strength is his leadership. Hard to find many better in that department. In the Xs and Os / execution area though, not as good. Bottom Line: Wilks is the sort of coach that needs a staff that excels in those aspects of the game where he's weaker. But, like Rivera, I don't know that he scouts assistants very well. That as much as anything might be why he's not in the NFL now.
    • Clearly the best outcome for us is a Giants W. A spot or two difference in the 4th round is inconsequential. Just look at the trade value charts. A spot or two at the top of the 1st means a LOT. A spot or two in the mid-rounds? Virtually nothing.
    • Agree. I don't think I have ever heard him say anything positive, at any time, about the Panthers. Best expectation is no mention at all.
