South Florida paper reporting that Chudzinski is the favorite for the Dolphins OC (quoted in the Red Zone).

Gantt confirms interview with the Panthers yesterday but no further info.

Starting to think we might not get him.

Technically Rivera "had the job" well before it was announced.

With the Jim Johnson connection, McDermott would automatically be a candidate for at least DB coach. And yeah, maybe DC (in concert with Rivera).

And for anybody wondering, McDermott was indeed with the Eagles organization (mostly as a defensive assistant) while Ron Rivera was there.

They worked together for five years.

Gantt seems to suggest Chud may not be Hurney's favorite for OC. The way Rivera was speaking, it sounded like they might go after someone still in the playoffs. Wonder who?

I think Rivera talks Hurney into it for Chud and I could see McDermott coming on as DC or LB coach. I would say DB coach, but Meeks will most likely end up with that job.

Florio thinks McDermott was moved out of the way so the Eagles didn't have to risk losing Dick Jauron to the Browns.

That sounds likely to me, the defense wasn't that great the past two years and I would rather fire McDermott as DC and promote Jauron then to Loose Jauron...
