Kolb Wants Out Of Philly?

Ruff

Cleveland no, because they are not sure what they have in McCoy yet

SF, maybe but they can just draft a qb instead

clevelands GM is one of the reasons kolb was drafted in philadelpha. and what QBs are available in the top 10 picks worth that money compared to what you get with kevin kolb?

No to Kolb. The Iggles didn't see enough in him to keep him in the starting job. I'd rather stay with Moore and Clausen at this point, or draft a new QB..

name another first year starting qb that would have started over Vick, especially how he was playing....please, thats a horrible excuse

I would rather have Orton. He is proven and will come a lot cheaper.

honestly, rather have Moore and clausen than BOTH Orton and Kolb, Kolb is unproven and Orton is an average passer who i think will struggle without McDaniels as his coach. Rather gamble on Gabbert than go for those two.

Orton was really successful in Chicago "where receivers go to die".. Orton is a much better QB than Moore and Clausen, and Kolb..

Orton is average, i am just not high on him, i rather get Newton, Locker, Mallett or Gabbert with the number one pick than go 4 and 12 with Orton.

and all those are most likely to be worse than Orton.. picking a QB just for the hell of it doesn't mean it's a smart decision, or beneficial in any way..

most people who are down on Orton never realized how solid he was as a QB.. just sayin.

but that's the issue, he's solid, average, not great, not good. if he's got a greaet offensive coach and players around him, he will play great, but if he were on our team last year, i dont see him winning any more than 3 games. i think (if we replace clausen) we should go to the draft.

    • I’ve been holding out on this because I knew I would just be called a homer. I’m sure some will still say I am and that we shouldn’t care about the underwear Olympics without seeing the tape. That being said…. this guy is an absolute freak. 6’3 220, 43” vertical, and 4.38 unofficial 40. And I can tell you I am not surprised in the slightest by following him since he was an under recruited high schooler putting up 232 tackles, 4 sacks, and 8 forced fumbles his senior year of high school (ONE YEAR!). He developed into the leader on the defense and was always the one making clutch plays.  He is going to be the Luke Kuechly for a defense at safety for a decade. I expect some team will draft him top 15, maybe even top 10. I go back and forth on whether you use a top 10 pick on a safety but at the end of the day, I think you pick a superstar no matter what position. I would prefer us get a top pass rusher or maybe even WR but I would be thrilled to land Nick E if we don’t get one of those guys. Would much rather have him over a guy like Jaylon Walker who is super intriguing but doesn’t have the production to back it up.
    • How is this guy still employed by ESPN?  He's probably the worst beat journalist I've ever seen
    • We could also draft a guy of that caliber on a much smaller contract deal.
