Would You Trade Down and Pick Up Tebow? Pair him with McDaniels ?

That's what I'm saying.

Whoever they take, we would have any number of options/ways to go. They take Peterson? Awesome. We could take Green, Fairley, Dareus, or Amukamara.

So let me get this straight, and not to single you out but you are the last fuging retard to post in this thread. Denver is going to give up The Golden Calf of Bristol and the #2 for our #1 so that they can draft somebody that we would have possibly drafted with the pick. Although there is not a lot of difference in any of the picks.

Then, if Denver doesn't make the trade with us, we could draft Cam Newton#1 overall because anything less than 2 fuging QB's on a roster that need development is just a waste.

lolwut?

I was asked a hypothetical question, and I gave a hypothetical response.

Thanks for the trolling, though, but you're on the wrong board. 4chan is that way.

you guys are batshit crazy if you think anyone would do that trade.

let me guess, we'll also be trading smith and d-will for first rounders in the top 10 so we can just draft green, fairley, and peterson?

Oh trust me, I know they would never do it. I was asked if they did do it, would I? Hell yes I would. But, I know the Denver Elways aren't that stupid, so I don't even consider it to be in the realm of possibility.

You can try and justify your stupid ass response to the "hypothetical" question all you want but you gave a dumbass answer just like about 80% of the other ass-holes did.

So you would trade the #1 for the #2 and The Golden Calf of Bristol because it would save the franchise some cash?

After you paid the #2 and The Golden Calf of Bristol you could probably pay the #1 for cheaper.

learn2hypothetical?

The correct answer to the hypothetical question is no.

The Golden Calf of Bristol gets you another QB that is 2-3 years away from being a true NFL starter and the chance to not be able to draft the player that you truely want.

But you would also be getting two players.

And since everyone on this board seems to be on the Cam Newton Hype Train (which trust me, I am not), it would be like taking Cam Newton and another player.

I was just giving the reason why I would.

Cam Newon is The Golden Calf of Bristol without the passion to win at all cost.

I guess I understand where you are coming from, that is one reason I said "not to call you out". But the idiocy on this board is out of control.

I am an asshole. As an asshole, I am tired of trying to be nice and sit here while dumbasses post stupid poo all over this board. So as a new Rule of Thumb for House, I am going to unabashedly be an asshole to everybody whom I think deserves it.

Trust me, man, I'm content with letting Jimmy play this year, see where he is talent wise at the end of next season, and evaluate from there. I don't want a running QB, be it Newton, The Golden Calf of Bristol, Vick, McNabb, Warren Moon, Randal Cunningham, or any of them.

I was just trying to point out that The Golden Calf of Bristol > Newton because a) he's not already been accused of criminal stuff and B) like you said, he has a desire to win no matter what it takes. (a la Michael Jordan)

House, I can understand the "asshole" persona, I use it quite often here... But, as far as I can remember, I thought The Golden Calf of Bristol should've been a 2nd rounder at worst last year. I believed that if he could shorten up his release, he was gonna be a good NFL QB. I also thought Colt McCoy was going to be the best QB coming out of this draft, so I think I did fairly well on those calls (McCoy isn't the best, but he's really good so far).

That's why I suggested it. I think The Golden Calf of Bristol will be a good-great QB, but he'll still need to be developed and will be learning on the job for awhile longer (as most young QBs do). I think what we saw from Jimmy this year was enough to tell that he's not anything special. He may improve, but he won't be anything special so we need to look to acquire as much legit competition as reasonably possible at QB.

And in terms of what's available to us, and others in the top 5 or so, I don't think we'd miss out on much with whatever is taken if we're at #2-5, instead of #1. Combine that with the reports that Peter King said Elway may be looking to deal The Golden Calf of Bristol, and I thought it was a good idea. In my opinion, we picked the worst year to get the #1 pick because I think this is the weakest draft in quite awhile, especially at the positions we are in dire need at.

Simple solution to our QB problem is...............

Bring in a vet, not a vet that is or ever was elite. A vet that was a good QB not because he had all of the talent but because he tried and studied harder than the guys that did have the talent. A guy that could, if needed could start and lead you to a decent season and possibly the play-offs.

Bring in a coach that believes in Clausen, not someone who is intent on starting him this year but just someone that believes in him. Make sure that he hires a QB coach and an OC that are good with young QB's and West Coast style offenses.

Let Clausen learn.

He may never amount to a hill of beans but two things will be accomplished in this "development" of JC.

#1-you will find out if Jimmy has the ability to be the QB you drafted him to be.

#2- you will be able to refine a system of what does/doesn't work for rookie/young QB's.

Actually, I think we're in good position this year, because of the opposite of what you said, Proudiddy.

We really need:

QB, DT(s), CB, RG.

Some of the highest ranked players in this draft are:

DT(s), CB(s), and some QBs.

We missed out on Luck, so I would say wait until next year to see where you are in the Luck Sweepstakes. Which would also mean not taking any QBs in this years draft. (Yes, I'm looking at you Cam Newton.) Of course, there will be DTs there for us to take, and possibly some high quality RGs in the third round for us to take.

So actually, yes, we can get some high quality players at positions of need this year.
