I feel bad for the Cardinals and their fans

Even though they beat us, it would have been nice to have said at least we got beat by the champs.

We all know how their fans feel right now...to come so close to a Superbowl Championship only to have it slip away in the final seconds. My heart goes out to them. Only respect for the Cardinals.

Steelers...play like thugs. No respect for them. Tomlin didn't even give them any credit for a game well played, but found time to thank BARACK OBAMA? Puhleaaaase. No class at all.

The Cardinals deserved this game. The refs were pretty fair in a game where penalties were crucial, but there were some iffy personal foul calls on the Cardinals, and J-Harrison SHOULD have been thrown out as Madden pointed out. He was just brutalizing that guy. The last play should have been reviewed (looked like an incomplete pass to me), and that TD catch by Holmes was VERY close. It was odd how they did not review that catch for very long if at all. In the end the crucial mistake by Warner throwing that pick in the endzone turned out to be the backbreaker which I thought it would be at the time. With a chance to take the lead right before halftime, that was a critical mistake. But congrats to the Steelers. They won the game fair and square.

My take on the Superbowl.

Although I wasn't watching the game I was getting regular updates and when I heard the score going into the 4th qtr I thought the Cards had played one game to many.

To their credit they didn't buckle and came home with a wet sail only for the Steelers to pip them.

Yes it sucks to lose but thats football. They, the Cards got beaten by a champian team and theres no disgrace in that

i will never understand the logic "im rooting for the team that beat us to say we lost to the champs"

why would i want the team that took my team out to have more joy in winning a championship?? i dont.

and did tomlin thank obama? i thought that was mr rooney.

I feel EXCITED for the STEELERS!!!

They did what no other playoff team before them did.

They figured out that Larry Fitzgearld was playing and it might Beehoove them to cover him .

Unlike the other defenses in playoffs .

Would you have felt SORRY for Cards if Panthers had covered FITZ and beat CARDS ?

I don't think so !

I am very happy that the team that I have rooted for since boyhood won, I will admit. That being said, I would have been rooting for the Panthers if they had been in Tampa last night, and I would not have even felt "sad" for the then five-time championship Pittsburgh Steelers if we had won it all because I would have been too ecstatic as a Panthers fan.

How can you feel sadness for the Cards when they gave the Panthers arguably their worse beating in franchise history?
