Great job of parenting, discipline is key also earns respect. BTW, I agree that the whipping was kinda soft, when I got my ass whipped it left welts for days but the discipline lasted for years!

I also remember the days when your friends parents could discipline you and when your own parents found out about your behavior you got another ass chewing.

I like this thread... Brings back memories of my childhood. If that was an ass whoopin' that kid wouldn't have survived in my household. That was not an ass whoopin' that was a spanking. He got his bottom popped. Kid's today don't know what getting your ass beat is like. They don't know about having to go outside and pick your own switch to get spanked with. That's why they are so fuging crazy disfunctional and fuged up. Spoiled little bastards.

imo, it would be child abuse not to discipline (whoop they're ass) when they do something stupid, or bad. I got my ass whipped when i was a kid, and im thankful for it.

That video is about 6 months old...and there is a 99.99999% chance that its fake...but if it isn't....ROFL...that kid will grow up to be the 50thish President of the America..

And on a side note, kids need ass whoopings. If you child is AFRAID of you, and what you might do to him/her/it after he/she/it does something stupid, the chances they do something stupid is minimal..

I've had by far worse. Got mad and told my Mom I hated her (not at all true by the way). Boy I got a wake up call about respecting my parents within seconds of finishing that sentence. Lesson learned.

my grandmother used to grow rose bushes right by her front door. that way, when she caught us doing something we weren't suppose to do, which was about every 30 minutes or so, she didn't have to to go inside to get a yardstick.
