@ Captroop's recommendation, I picked up Battlefield 2 : Limited Edition last night. First thought, looks like there is way more stuff going on (stuff flashing on mini map, places to roam, overall map space, etc.) than in MW2. Played a couple multiplayer games and pretty much just ran around and died. I'll need a 12 pk. and about 6 hours to make a good judgment on it. PSN = SouthRox if you’re up for a game

Update:

Well, I must say for the last 6 months BFBC2 is pretty much all I have played. Quite addictive once you get the idea of whats going on.

You've got to find you're niche; where you're comfortable. If you're a run n' gunner, go for assault, if not, try some of the other classes. I'm not surprised you're having trouble if you're coming right from MW2. That game trains you to run aimlessly around maps and get by with quick reflexes. Experienced BFBC players will light you up (and teammates will hate you) if you try to play that way. You'll have to learn to slow the pace of your game down a little (or a lot). I spend most of my time crouched, scanning my surroundings, then stealthily zipping from cover to cover.

I recommend while you are new that you try a few rounds as Recon. You can pick a few guys off while you learn the controls and the layouts of maps. Pretty soon, when you start learning where the ambush points are, and where people tend to congregate, your lifetime will increase. But it is a little overwhelming at first.
