John Fox on Broncos radar

I don't have huge problem with Fox like a lot of you do. I remember him making our team respectable as soon as he took over. I hope wherever he goes, he finds success (AFC West is nice since we don't play them very often).

Even after he kept Delhomme in the playoff game and allowed him to make 5 interceptions?

3 winning seasons out of 9???????

Remember this year, he was setup to fail. His first year, no one would have expected him to have a winning season, but going 7-9 is very impressive after taking over 1-15 team (we could have won a lot more games in 2002, lost a few very close ones). We were competitive in all the other years. So, we could have been in WAY worse shape over those 9 years.

Not good work as in "Hey! Good work!"

But good work as in "These are the good things he accomplished while here, and a singular negative can hardly negate them"

The bottom line is hardly a measure of his performance overall.

Heck, you can cross of one of those losing seasons simply because he got us when we were 1-15.

A good coach would have done better with this team. As JR said, " We have the worst record but we do not have the worst players."

This team has been under-coached for years.

so we are still gonnas defend Fox? Okay... Kept Delhomme two years after Tommy Jone and the offense didn't change with a new OC, but yeah it's the players on the field...

A coach can only do so much. He can't throw it for Jimmy or Moore, he can't help Gross block, he can't help LaFell catch, he can't back up Marshall and Godfrey on a deep ball, he can't not draft Armanti, he can't not accept the crap his boss decided to do to the team, he can't put stick-em on Goodson's fumbly hands, and he can't play DT.

What he can do is be a mediocre life long coach on a mediocre team. But yeah HAHAHAHAH OMGZZZZZZZZ THE BRONCOSSS ARE TEH DUMBZZZZZZZ!! THEYS GUNNNA GO 0-16 NOW!!!!!
