I suppose if JR's talk is meaningless and he's content with mediocre offense, then yes, you go with Clausen. Or if he really trusts Hurney's evals of him from last year.

Hell we could all be wrong. Maybe Clausen is the next Drew Brees. I just kinda doubt it.

i still believe matt moore can still be made into a starter.

i think the biggest blow to the qb position was cutting delhomme. he was there for moore his first starts in 2007(?) and at the tail end of 2009.

who knows, he may have been able to help clausen out...somehow.
