...where it almost cripples you. And you have to walk around with a tissue and every public business you go into you run for the restroom to grab that thin crappy toilet paper off the 3ft diameter roll off the industrial toilet paper holder that holds 3 rolls at once; just so you can blow the watery snot out to get 30 seconds of relief before your nasal cavity refills only to drain again?

When you almost revert to 1st grade and wipe your watery snot on your sleeve and not give a fug?

ive got that.

I effin hate afrin. I always get rebound from it.

I confess i am a former Afrin addict. As a pre-teen no less. It was really a miserable existence at the time. Way before my parents ever thought i could be addicted to it. But i kicked it. Was scared to death to touch it for YEARS. Now, i understand the risks and use it sparingly, but the REBOUND is most definitely there and very tough to manage. Almost a science of benefit/risk.

I've never become addicted to it but know people who are.

Bleys,

It's when you use it too often to unclog your nose and it becomes ineffective causing even more congestion than before.

damn, I've been using it 2 times a day for a 1 1/2 months or so... I'm not a mouth breather though! can't stand it.. lol

sorry dude. you are suffering from rebound congestion. you will never get over it until you just quit the afrin and suffer a few days thru the congestion.
