Online Classes

online takes a lot of devotion. i always made A's and B's at UNCC and GTCC unless it was a summer or online class. then it was a C almost always. it lacks a lot.

if you can do live classes, even one a semester, that is the way to go. you'll learn more, and have a better experience.

I dont have the time to go and take courses. online really is the only way to go for me at this stage of my life.

Not sure how good you are at learning math on you're own, but I'm terrible at it. I had a lot of trouble making it through online math courses. Wound up having to retake two of them in person. So you've gotta factor in your own strengths and weaknesses.

Beyond that, strictly online colleges are generally far more expensive than most brick and mortar schools that offer online components because I'm not aware of any strictly online school that is subsidized by the government for its operating costs.

My wife just finished her business degree through East Carolina University and their distance education program. Like you, with work and kids, she didn't have time for on campus classes. She did have to go to our local community college for the proctored exams, but scheduled them for after work.

ECU classes were the same per credit hour as actual on campus classes (In-state tuition), you just don't have all of the other fees. I would see if UGA has a distance education programs.
