Maybe this tells some people on here that alot of these sacks might not have been the Oline fault. Jimmy poor pocket presents was a major reason for alot of sacks given up also.

They're not gonna let Kalil go, they're gonna overpay him just like they did Gross and Gamble. I don't watch much tape on other linemen in the conference, but it's hard to believe Gross and Kalil actually deserve to be in the Pro Bowl. Not trying to hate on them, the whole effing team was a joke this year (except for a small handful of defensive players), but our O-line as a whole was pretty terrible this year...the passing game and running game were both negatively affected by the O-line play.

Kalil is our best OL. Gross got in on name recognition, but he was also coming off an injury this year. I think we'll be back to having one of the better OL's in the league with Otah healthy if we can find a solid veteran starter at RG.

I don't think people realize how much the Otah injury rippled across the entire line. Our right side was awful and that affected the whole line.

Something else to consider, though, too. Next year Matt Kalil should be one of the higher rated OT's in the draft. If we go QB this year (unlikely) it's possible we take him to play with his brother at LT, move Gross to RT where he's better, and Otah in to RG.

I know people hate to give gross any credit at all, but too say he got in by name, is just ignorant. He earned that lt spot. He may not be the bbbest in the league, but stop hating.

I am surprised that any of our guys made it this year based upon their poor play.
