Peterson would be a good pick, but im officially on the AJ Green wagon. Would give us 4 good WRs. Already have 3 good RBs and a decent OL when Otah gets back. Offense would be set, except for QB - but can always sign one or wait until 2012 to draft one.

IMO it's gotta be AJ Green, but CB is a need with Matshall's departure.

Not the biggest need (but still a pretty big one) and not a top value position like a QB but without-a-doubt the best player on the board. The guy is an absolute beast, best DB prospect to come around in a VERY long time, lives and breathes football and elevates the play of everyone around him. Not to mention he's made himself into a top return man as well. Here watch this and get all hyped and sh*t.

To everyone who wants to improve the offense, we will do that once the new coaching staff benches Clausen. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Peterson is the next best choice after Luck. Cam is a one year wonder who needs years to develop before being a decent QB at the NFL level. Fairley is a wannabe Suh, and the last time we had a DT with character issues, he nearly retired because he hated the team. We can pass on Green because our receivers are pretty good.

Taking Peterson will allow us to move Marshall back to nickel, where he is an absolute beast for us. Having Gamble, Peterson, and Marshall will bode well for us in the toughest passing division in the league.

The kid is a monster. Watch the LSU/Auburn game and he was the only DB heck only player able to solo tackle Cam Newton, and being 2/3 the size of Cam that's pretty impressive His punt and rick returning skills could be crucial too. It's just the whole taking a CB at number 1 thats kinda spotty.

I'd be all for Green but what worries me is JR's presser where he said that they've worried too much about what the coach wants, not what they want. Since Clausen is a Hurney guy, it worries me that they would keep him in instead of getting a FA QB, regardless of what the coach wants to do.

Jimmy Clausen makes Green a wasted pick. Just my opinion though.
