Gabbert is in no way shape or form worthy of the #1 pick, Bowers is a one year wonder, Green I can get behind.

Bowers isn't a one year wonder. When he stepped on the field as a true freshmen you could tell he would be a force later on. Kid is is just an all around force. He progressed into exactly what he appeared he would be the first game he stepped on the field as a freshman. Great DL play doesn't always show up in the stat sheet.

I don't see us trading down really... or how far down are you talking? and for what? I dunno, just seems unlikely.

If Fairley isn't there, maybe we can trade with someone in the top 5 who wants Bowers bad and we can move back to their spot and select a QB or something and gain a 2nd with it, but I kinda doubt it.
