Vince Young just finished the season with a 98.6 QB rating even though he got benched and has been a regular starter for most of his career. Stick any decent young black QB in Tennessee under a reportedly racist coach and let him waste away down there and see if they all don't go a little crazy.

I don't see Steve McNair as the type of guy that would let that poo get to him though nor would speak out on it. If it was present, my bet is he dealt with it and just bottled it up. I also think it's likely Fisher had more fear to act like that with McNair than a young kid like Vince. Either way, you can't tell me you see any chemistry between Young and Fisher.

And yeah, the bar may not be set really high, but again, what are our alternatives? That IS the bar, whether we like it or not right now! And regardless where the bar is you can't deny Vince finished 09 winning 9 out of his 11 games as a starter and posted a 98.6 rating as a QB in 2010.

That speaks for itself I think.

I don't care who was at fault, or what really went on, we may never know, but I can tell you a guy that's OBVIOUSLY in a bad situation and capable of putting out results like that is certainly to do better if he can find a better home.

Just saying. Why not give him the chance since he HAS proven he can get it done in back to back seasons?

I am IN on exploring the possibilities of adding VY. Guy still has a ton of potential. Had a passer rating over 100 in 4 of 7 games he played in last year. If he had a coach that believed in him he could be great. Is he a head case? Yes. Is he worth the risk... considering our situation. I'd say absolutely.

Doesn't matter though because we won't know if the new HC will be down with VY. Plus Richardson done already said he ain't signing nobody until there is a CBA. VY will be hooking up with Brandon Marshall down in Miami long before that ever happens.

Clausen is going to improve. By how much is anyone's guess. I think they will bring Moore back and it honestly isn't a bad move. I think the only QB they would have taken #1 is Luck. C. Palmer might do well.

I'm sorry, I must live in some alternate universe....but when the f**k did David Carr ever have back to back seasons with a QB traing of 90% or higher and results like Young has PRIOR to being traded?

David Carr never had a winning season as a starting QB. David Carr was poo. Vince Young is not poo. Your comparison is ridiculous and only tied by the fact they both had emotional drama.

As far as skill, ability, performance and results they are NOTHING alike.
