2011 Panthers Offense: Vince Young, Moore, Clausen, AJ Green, S.Smith, Lafell/Gettis!

Throw in our running game with Stewart, Goodson, and possible D.Will coming back, and Otah back in the mix up front and A. Edwards for the Wildcat...

.....and tell me why that combination would NOT work for us?

Vince a mobile QB, with Green, Smith, and the our two rooks, we can have 4-WIDE sets all year long and a guy who can take off and run at will. Seriously, I would be quite happy with that. Not to mention, Vince's experience would automatically fix our confidence and leadership issues.

because vince young is a mediocre QB.

On a red-neck's team, sure. But take one good look at those two and see why it was never going to work. Fischer looks like he should be part of the Earnheart family somewhere in NASCAR, and Vince Young looks like the type of guy that was never going to take any poo from a guy like that.

I don't believe Vince has had the best luck in finding a good home throughout his career.

fail.

the guy has david carr syndrome.

how awesome it will be to have a guy on the injruy report with fragile psyche again.

wow what a joke.

Ha ha. How can you even go there? That's a joke!

Vince Young just finished the season with a 98.6 QB rating even though he got benched and has been a regular starter for most of his career. Stick any decent young black QB in Tennessee under a reportedly racist coach and let him waste away down there and see if they all don't go a little crazy.

Bring him to Queen city, and I bet you it would be a refreshing start for him.

Vince Young did have a qb rating of 98.6 this year and has shown improvement every year. I think with a change of scenery VY could be a decent QB. I would rather see what Matt Moore can do with a new coaching staff rather than have VY. I'm still not giving up on Jimmy yet either. Maybe a new coach can help develop Pickles.

    • That should count for 2 TDs.  His hands were bad coming out of college--and they have improved.  I was a TE in college, and to me, the toughest catches were the ones that were coming straight towards you.  I would rather catch running and looking over one shoulder when you have a dominant hand in the process.  In fairness, others liked catching passes with their thumbs together in their chest.  I dunno.
