Leinart is awful and Vince has some serious issues he needs to work out before we even think about pursuing him.

Meat you might should give us some of your background with the Panthers. It might help with your credibility for those that don't know. ( I for one know some things but others that haven't been here for years might not.)

Bottom line is no matter how bleak it looks, you have an owner who cares (he screwed up this past year...it happens) and a GM who generally knows what he's doing. Fox made the playoffs three times in his first eight years, and that wasn't good enough for Richardson.

When I look around the league this year or in general over the past years, and examine the playoff teams... Great owners are not want stands out as getting the team to the playoffs consistently.... I'm noticing great QB play. That's what seems to consistently get the job down. It's why your team can go from the #1 pick to where you are now and on the rise.

I can't speak for others, but for me the biggest disappointment was not Andrew Luck staying, or missing out on Harbaugh. It was, by far, the statement Jerry made regarding not signing any of our free agents before a CBA was reached.

I do believe we have a solid core to build around, and we're not on the level the Rams or Lions were before they turned it around... HOWEVER, if we lose Kalil and Charles Johnson, we certainly will be. I'm sure Beason won't be too happy about not getting an extension(especially considering Demeco Ryans/Patrick Willis were both extended last season) too, and who knows if he wants to stick around after that.

I'm just not liking the way the franchise is headed.

The Luck thing was out of our control so there is no reason to freak out over it. You have to look at the situation objectively.. it sucks but you gotta move on.

he should have extended them before the season ended. now they're going into the off-season, and potential lockout without a paycheck.

My Rams used to have one of the best owner in all of sports. Then he was found dead in his swimming pool and his ex-stripper wife took over the team. We are finally back in good hands, and you can say that Bradford was the only thing that saved us, but the Rams had several chances to draft franchise QBs in the years before, including Ryan and Sanchez. It takes the right people making the right calls. I believe the Panthers will be fine with Hurney making those calls with a new partner/coach at his side.
