I dont. Even if he is Andre Johnson, you can find receivers later in the draft, and good ones. We don't need a receiver bad enough to draft one that high. id almost crazy for us to do.

The only other player besides Luck with the skillset of a true #1 overall player is AJ Green. Either he or Cam Newton (best QB available other than Luck) should be the pick.

And when you have the worst offense in your 16 year history, you don't need to pick a defensive tackle that would be a mid-first rounder in a lot of drafts as your #1 pick.

those are the ones that make sense. any of those picks are in play now.

WR AJ Green and CB Peterson are the only real #1 overall talents imo.

QB Cam and Gabbert would be slight reaches but they've got potential out the wazoo. They will skyrocket at the combine imo.

DTs Fairley and Dareus fit a need but #1 is way to high imo.

I certainly don't hate on Clausen like everyone else here given the situations he was in this year but it would be hard to pass on Cam Newtons potential to be the next Big Ben (minus the rapes).

....or just trade #1 for Michael Vick.
