again, we will not draft a receiver that high. Wasted pick.

yes, so you trade down and attempt to re-coup a 2nd round draft pick thanks to the Edwards trade.

Then draft, hopefully around 7/8?, AJ Green.

Also, with Claussen at QB and no stud DT it sets us up to tank next season and draft Luck.

It will all depend on a rookie wage scale, if the CBA is done before the draft and a rookie wage scale is in place... many more teams would be willing to trade for the # 1 overall pick to ensure they will get the guy they want.

For that matter, if JR really was "cheap" he would see to it that the CBA (with a rookie wage scale) is done before the draft so he doesn't have to pay the # 1 pick big bucks.

As for JR, talk is cheap, PSLs are not.

I just have zero confidence in Hurney to select a QB. Zero. Hopefully whichever DC schmuck JR hires has enough sense to get someone who does know QBs enough to help with the selection.

Luck not coming is devasting to this team. I wonder if JR had called Luck and talked to him personally, if it would have made any difference at all.

you scooped me. Of course we will here "talk is cheap (and so are you)" etc...but this was refreshing to me. In a day full of bad news, this was welcomed.

You don't know me at all. If you age is correct, I was forking out money for this team when you were 5 years old and it has continued for 15 years.

Walk in my shoes and right the check every year in April before you say you know me.

How many checks have your written to show your love of this team.

I'll give you an analogy.

At breakfast, the chicken is involved and the pig is committed. There is a difference.

age has zero to do with it. "Talk is cheap" All he can do at the moment is talk. All season long people were BEGGING the man to talk. now that hes talking "talk is cheap" make your minds.

age has zero to do with it. .

When you make statements that you know someone or what someone will say, it has a lot to do with it.

I could care less whether he ever speaks verbally again. As for me, actions speak louder than words, and what his actions tell me, from the simple act of NFL Shield in the middle of the field vs. the Panthers logo, to keeping Hurney as GM, he has made his intent perfectly clear.

BTW, would you like to buy my PSLs? 35 yard line, Panthers side, section 342?
