Cam Newton looking better and better!

Some of you are full of poo if you think he threw to his first read on every play. There were a few plays where he went to the 2nd and 3rd reads after scanning the whole field.

Also, if the first read is open, it's a good decision to throw to him, believe it or not.

I didn't see know 3rd read. Maybe a 2nd but no 3rd. Yeah the 3rd was 2 tuck and run.

Did you see Newton after the Game he look hurt and upset. I think he knew he didn't help his draft position at all. He had a chance at really raiseing his spot in a prime time game but he didn't and my have actually hurt it. Wow now he might be hurt.

He had some x-rays done before he went out to the media.

So, what you're saying is that he sucks at playing the QB position.

Listen im not going to hang on taylors balls like you are baiting me to do. His problems were from Brian Stinespring moron coaching. He would be a project. He could be a bust or be a journeyman/decent qb. But he has alot of raw talent that could be coached up.

I wouldn't be opposed to bringing him in as a free agent, but I don't think I'd spend any pick on the guy. Being a UNC fan I watch a lot of ACC football and he's just never stuck out to me as an NFL QB prospect.

I'm a ACC fan and he never stood out as one either. But during the Stanford game Jaws made a good case for him. Maybe im tired and losing it. Anyway Cam is garbage.

I'm telling you, he got hurt early in that game and you could tell he was just hanging on. I have seen a few of his games, but I have never seen him just dive to the ground without even being hit, unless he was diving into the endzone. He did that at least 2-3 times in this game.

This was not even close to Cam's best game.

So take away his running ability and he's a below average QB? Why would we use a #1 on that?

Cam Newton did not beat Oregon by himself. Auburn beat Oregon as a team. Cam Newton did not even have the single best offensive performance on his own team (evidenced by the fact that he did not win the offensive MVP award?). And yet somehow we're supposed to think that by turning in what amounts to a pretty pedestrian performance he's cemented himself as the number one pick?

He may one day be a good NFL QB but he's by no means ready to come in and start right now on even a low-tier level. This means Cam Newton, like every other QB in this year's draft, is not worthy of the first overall pick (in my opinion there's barely a top 10 QB IN this year's draft).

I realize that to the Cam Newton player fans this won't mean anything except another piece of the grand conspiracy to keep Cam "Jesus" Newton down...but them's the breaks.

So he sucks because he didn't single handedly beat Oregon? You do realize that Oregon has been game planning for a month just to stop him, right?

I'm not saying the guy is the best QB that ever lived or anything, but he has potential out the ying yang. He certainly has more than The Golden Calf of Bristol, and he was a first rounder.
