Fairley, on the other hand played like a man possessed. I was skeptical of him going into this game, but after tonight i am convinced he could be the 1 pick. people talk about him being a dirty player but i kinda like that, especially in a dt.

Fairly had a great game but also showed some slack. Two plays specifically, the personal foul where he pushed James' helmet to the ground, and jumping offsides near the goal line, which isn't that huge but were here to nit pick right?

Fairley is very good. I'm just not sold on him being #1 pick good yet.

Make no mistake, Auburn's D and Dyer won this game, not Newton. I'm pretty sure Luck doesn't play defense and didn't give up 52 points. Luck actually "led" his team to more points than Newton.

Good number of scouts wouldn't have rated him as good enough to be taken #1 before tonight. He did nothing to change anybody's mind. And if not for Dyer's big play, the last highlight Newton would have been featured in would have been that strip-fumble.

Im not sold on any of the top picks being Number 1 at this point watching there bowl games. None have really separated from the pack. IMO Luck was the only Player that proved to be dominate.
