Richardson has Ruined Our Franchise

We all said either his plan would look genius or would backfire big time. Well, you see what it's done now.

He's a f**king idiot. If he would've kept his f**king mouth shut before Luck declared, we probably would be dealing with an entirely different scenario. Insulted Harbaugh, fans, etc.

This is pathetic. Get ready, we're the new Detroit Lions.

It's his franchise and you're a drama queen.

All you guys go away until we start winning again ... then you can see whether there's a seat on the bandwagon.

No thanks, I'm not a follower, I'm a leader, and I don't ride in wagons. I'm a Panther fan through and through, forever. I was 9 or 10 when we found out we'd get a franchise, about 12 when we got it. I immediately forgot all the other teams out there, because I finally had MY TEAM. A HOME TEAM. It belonged to me, to us.

So, forgive me if I don't keep my mouth shut, or my keyboard undisturbed when I question the motives and moves of our owner. No one did it with the Hornets until it was too late. I'm not saying JR is like Shinn, but if you don't stay aware and on top of things, anything is possible.

I admit, a great deal of my posts on this board come out of emotion. Why? Because I love this team, always have, always will. But, much like in real life, people love in different ways. Some are passive (seems to be all the people calling me out for making the statements I do), some people jump in fully, are engaged, and passionate - I would consider that me. So, although I may not always come across in a cheerful "well, what can we do anyway" kind of manner, I love this team as much as any fan, and that will never change.

In all fairness, I don't really have a right to call JR a "f*cking idiot," because in all honestly, the man has demonstrated he's not an idiot in his years on this Earth, ESPECIALLY as a businessman. He got to the place he's at now through hard work, dedication, belief, staying humble for the most part, and being SMART and business savvy. But, that doesn't mean he's making all the right decisions now in my opinion. So, in a moment of anger I said something that I usually wouldn't... Who doesn't? Again, what matters is that I care. If I didn't care and didn't bleed black, blue, and silver, then you wouldn't of heard a peep from me this year... I would've packed my stuff up quietly and left - THAT AIN'T ME. I speak/type because I care.

So, you can question my approach, but don't question my dedication or fandom to this team. That will never waver.

Most slave - ass, blindly loyal, hive brained, fan base ever. If you don't kiss JR's ass, then you are not a "true panther fan".

1.) JR cut the roster because he wanted to save money. Umm... no, he did it to force Foxy to play the young guys with "potential". Hahaha.

2.) If it weren't for JR, we wouldnt have a team. Umm... no, if it wasn't for the PSL owners we wouldnt have had a team @ the time. Most of you live in some backwoods ass town and think the rest of the state is as simple and hopeless as you are. NC is the 10 most populated state in the union and CHA is the largest city. We would have another team in a heartbeat if this franchise were to go away.

Yea and which team would that be?? LA cant even get a team and they make us look like mooresville

It's like this Jerry Richardson I thank him for bringing a NFL team to North Carolina but he is gravely sick. He is an old man in all honesty that needs to worrying about his health other than the team he owns. What he needs to do is swallow his pride, and let his sons, or somebody who is healthier to run this organization. He is clueless right now, he needs to get well...

I am as passionate as you or anyone else here as a Panthers fan. I'm just frustrated with the doom and gloom, and extremely frustrated with people here who have no idea what they're talking about in terms of who Mr. Richardson is, what kind of person he is, etc. Many are talking from the wrong emotions/reasons .... the disappointment and frustration, I can take. The hatred and vitriol are quite something else.

I really was aiming my comment at people who already have said "I'm outta here." To them, I say, good riddance, but I expect that once we start winning again ... and we will (though in response to someone's question, I certainly don't know when) ... they will be right back wanting on the bandwagon.

Being a loyal fan doesn't mean you have to agree with everything or be happy about everything, despite how horrible things are right now, but being a loyal fan does mean you stick around. You don't leave until things get better, and then make like you never left.

Its not about the city you're in, but about the owner you have

I could careless if the team in south dakota... long as the owner is doing his hardest and whatever necessary to try to bring a championship to the franchise... there you go

A) It's his franchise

B) Stop whining

C) Stop ******* whining

Exactly! +1

If JR wants to screw the team and piss off the fan base that's his prerogative.

JR said that he cut vets to force Fox to play the younger players. That's brilliant, I don't care who you are. I'm not worried because JR is obviously on top of things. Without JR we probably would have lost every game this year.

Hey you whiners...WE WON 2 GAMES SO STFU!!!

...and who cares if he can't work a cell phone. It's complicated to push buttons.
