Richardson has Ruined Our Franchise

we have no idea what impact JR had on Luck, if any.

he's been saying all along he wanted to stay in college until he stopped saying anything. We just chose to believe a long shot.

Are you kidding me?? We have no idea what impact it had? I guaran-freakin-tee you that if the 49ers had the #1 pick then he would have declared the next day. Instead, JR postures like he's Dan Rooney when he doesn't have the rings to back it up and now nobody thinks we are a legit franchise.

All I can say is I hope Blaine Gabbert is the real deal because if we go into next year with Jimmy Clausen as our starting QB I am going to be PISSED.

You and your 12 anti-JR threads are going to look really pathetic when we're just fine in a year or two. You act like this guy has consistently driven this team into the ground, like he's an Al Davis type of moron. He's looking out for the NFL first, like someone looking out for their country rather than just their own state, a bigger picture of which you have no clue how to see. There is absolutely no way to know for sure that Luck's decision had anything to do with JR's conference, no way.

I can't believe how ridiculous people already are 5 days out from the season. This is going to be a long long offseason.

I understand, and I believe we are all grateful for that. But sometimes relationships just need to end.

*knock on wood* ..... just look at the Raiders and crazy-ass Al Davis. It's sad because the owner weilds extraordinary power and can absolutely destroy a franchise. They have almost no accountability. So when a thick-headed owner reigns supreme, awful things can happen.

Now, I don't think JR is anywhere near an Al Davis type, but his behavior the past couple years is extremely worrisome. I agree with what others have said. I don't think he knows how to win anymore. He wants to, but his behavior hasn't helped reach that goal

he's ruining his franchise...not ours.

he didn't do this team any favors this year, thats for sure. hard to see how the effects won't be long term.

we are the laughing stock of the sports world, thats for sure, and it's his fault.

he's going to be losing a lot of fans and a lot of PSLs are going to be given up. stands are going to be empty unless he pulls his head out of his arse and starts working with the players union and tries to do something positive around here.

if he makes no strides to improve i won't be sticking around. i won't support a team that has no dedication to improving itself and an owner who chooses to screw his fans, but give them a polite phone call trying to make himself look less like a greedy old bastard.

he's dug a big hole for this franchise and it's up to him to get us out. i don't think he has it in him.

And he wouldn't be the owner of a franchise if PSL owners hadn't stepped up with their money in 1993.

I've said before I executed agreement for Club Seat and 100 Level PSL's in August '93. There has been a vacant seat next to my Clubs from the beginning. Originally those PSL's were $1,500 per each. Panthers are now asking $7,500 per each. I figure $1,500 per PSL isn't too bad for me to eat if amortized over 18 years. I am not renewing my season tickets next year because the ticket price is going from $140 per seat to $200 per seat. So J.R., you'll be looking at 3 vacant seats from your ivory tower.

My 100 level PSL's are listed for sale at that "PSL Source" site that advertises at the top of this board. Go buy them if you have the guts.

Strange there is a vacant seat next to me in the 100 levels too

Anyway the only real way fans can send a message is to relinquish their PSLs

When fans start doing that the franchise is done. otherwise jerry gets his $$ either way

Fort the record i am not there yet

Wow what a great year to have the #1 pick.

No one worth picking with the #1, go figure, the time we get it is the time it's at its all time shittyness.

At least we'll have that high second rounder which is basically like a first, wait no we won't we have Armanti "Inactive" Edwards.

Welcome everybody we are now the Lions.

About the only good news from this is that we should be primed to pick him up anyway next year.
