Second snow storm of the season?

This is beginning to look like the January 1988 snow storm where a weak low pressure moved through the Gulf and a prolonged period of isentropic lift remained over the area...even though synoptic lift was weak. This produced a large area of 1 foot accums.

This is the most interesting part to me, I was here for that storm and we had 14" on the ground. Twas awesome.

I remember it too, it was one of my earlier memories. I was three and my parents' snow shovel from when they lived up north broke. Couldn't get in or out of the driveway.

this past snow, I tried to get my snow blower running to no avail... it even has an electric start option but it would never fire...

looks like I know what I'm going to be working on for a while this weekend... shoveling our driveway is a B

I just drove across the US. I hit snow in Washington and didn't get out of it until southern Iowa. Fug snow in snowtarded NC.
