The only way some people would have been happy would have been for Richardson to come out, publicly flog himself, while screaming "I have sinned, Carolina", and then nailed Hurney, Fox and Clausen to crosses, only to follow that up by having a squad of hitmen with helmetcams go into Jake Delhomme's house and shoot him.

The season sucked, he did what he thought he had to, and I seriously doubt any one of us wouldn't be pissed if we were repeatedly called "cheap" for not wanting to pay $11.4 million to a staff to not work.
