The Morgan Fogarty thing...

lol.. he didn't hit on her.. he didn't joke about hitting on her.. he didn't say anything but "come sit up front so I can abuse you like you abused me"..

if ANYONE took that sexually, they are the fool.. he was making a very clear reference in a joking manner..

this is a non-issue.. and pointless to discuss.. lol

...and you quoted me before my last edit, like I said:

JR should realize that because he's an old man and she's a hot young blonde people might misinterpret his attention to her. It's the same thing we talk about with players: the best way to avoid trouble is to avoid putting yourself in a situation where you may be vulnerable.

It should also be pointed out the "Brotha Fred" was just as critical of JR as Morgan was, so where was he yesterday?

Again, I don't think JR's intentions were bad but he has to realize how others who are not in on the joke may perceive his attention to Morgan...

Obviously, you were offended by that. It hasn't offended others. Most importantly, it didn't offend Morgan Fogarty, who all of this was directed at.

I wasn't offended by it, I just thought it was somewhat inappropriate and embarrassing.

I was one of the people that was in on the joke, my concern is how it is perceived by people who were not in on the joke...

Did you actually watch the press conference? He made reference to her several times... it wasn't just the "come sit up front" thing.

yes, I did.. everyone saw the joke.. anyone looking for a story is the same reason why JR bashed the media yesterday..

people misinterpret things all the time.. that is a huge issue in America because people are fuging stupid.. lol

for me or anyone in the organization to give a poo is wasted time... no one in the Panther organization should worry about what some idiot writer has to say.. they need to be finding our next coach..

and for us fans, we need to set any idiot straight by writing hate mail to any writer who is trying to make a story out of nothing..

instead of us worrying, how about be proactive and support our organization and bash the media if they try to write a non-story just to make a story..

Brotha Fred was a jerk; Fogarty was just blaming him.

JR snubbed Fred earlier in the year when he invited Fogarty to talk about the season, too. I think he just dislikes people like "Brotha Fred."

I suspect if Fogarty had been a total bitch on air to him like Fred was she wouldn't have been invited either.

Brotha Fred is a DJ I'm pretty sure and he's pretty much paid to be a doofus. He knows he's a joke because it's his job to be a silly radio DJ.

Morgan is an actual journalist so maybe he's holding her to a higher standard.

Personally I find this all hilarious just because of how he commanded the room the other day probably because he was annoyed with the rumors.

We have a LOT of short sighted people.

The press conference isn't going to influence luck in any way. Nor should it. Ya can't learn of an owner or franchise from any press conference. Ya gotta ask the people who know. Panther players, former coaches...the big man himself when they do in person interviews...which won't be done for months.

Come on people, use your brains.

Please.

I find it funny how the media didnt catch on to the fact that he wanted to know everyones name and they didnt introduce themselves as they ask the questions (kind of like the way the media does with the president)
