The 2-3 minute clip on the Panther's website isn't tell-tale of any of this.

Now... I will say this...

From the 2-3 minutes I did see, Richardson seemed somewhat confused... disorganized even... either his thinking or his speaking to them felt "dis-coordinated".

Take for example that little make-shift pie-chart. How did it illustrate or prove a $200 million cash shortfall? And how did that show us that the players are responsible for covering that?

Fair enough, and for the record I wasn't comparing the Cosell situation to JR in terms of magnitude, just using it as an example to illustrate why it's important for a public figure to watch what they say and do very carefully.

all we wanted was for richardson to act professional. instead we got mr. hehrily from big daddy. the media hasn't been nearly as venomous as other places. John Mara got ripped on espn for merely sticking with coughlin after barely missing the postseason with a 10-6 record. this guy fugs a whole season up and gets pissed when people speculate

a part of this fanbase is full of spoonfed fuging cretins who get some vicarious satisfaction out of this browbeating session
