Boo this guy next year

Based on the news conference today where he talked about his heart transfer, his first cell phone

and the fact that he doesn't even know who Harbaugh is

and hit on the hot reporter

and made sure to blather on about the CBA...

the guy seems completely disassociated with reality.

As a faithful PSL owner i can honestly predict that the next 3-5 years will be a miserable time for us all.

Mark it...next year's record = 4-12

this team is a joke

Good day neg rep your mom

I definitely didn't like the part about not even starting negotiating new contracts until a CBA agreement had been reached...I'm sure all our players love that.

I used to think he was a great owner but I would definitely trade him in a heartbeat no pun intended for an owner who was worried more about putting a winning team on the field then making money for the NFL owners.

I just can't get behind any billionaire complaining about losing money.

Don't take this the wrong way, but I think you got the total wrong message.

The cell phone deal was to explain that he once looked positively at email. He thought it was to bring good news. He got a ton of bad feelings in email this year from fans and worked to try to correct it by calling them. Then he wanted to go about how he will actually be helping the team along. Rather than talking a ton about that he took questions...

He was not "blathering" about the CBA. It was something the owners intended to do. Think what you want about JR, but he's not stupid. This was part of the owners plan on how to approach the CBA stuff.

Also, his "hitting on the reporter" had to do with the "Big Cat Call" TV stuff that Fogarty and the dumbass with the stupid name had as a show a few months ago. It was intended to tease her, and I think most members of the media got that.

For better or worse, this team is linked to the CBA.

No way to make a prediction at this point. Coach and QB will be HUGE in what occurs next season. So will FAs. Not hard in the NFL to get to .500...especially w/ defensive talent and skill position talent.

Prediction is made. I've nailed it two years in a row and I bet i got it again

    • Will he keep this up? Who knows. He's had a few decent and one good game. If he keeps trending in this direction I think we go with a veteran and late round development QB if one falls we really like. If he reverts back to early season play, I wouldn't mind earlier investment in a QB because he has had a lot of time to show consistency.
    • Sounds a lot like the clusterfug we had last year with Reich. Poor leadership loses the team. Poor leadership will cost you your job.
    • According to multiple players and staffers in the locker room, some players were asking why Eberflus didn’t call a timeout. Other players got going, too. “Guys were furious,” a staff member said. “It was an accumulation of this season.” “The locker room was ugly,” another staffer said. “There was a lot of yelling.” Said the first player: “We felt as players it’s been too many instances where we fought our way back into games to lose because of bad time management and decision-making.” Multiple sources added that the emotions were so high between the players and their head coach that Eberflus left the locker room immediately after his speech and the exchange with players. There was nothing left to say. It was a moment for this Bears team that would inevitably force chairman George McCaskey into something the franchise had never done before. By Friday morning, Eberflus was out — but not before the team decided to have him address the media over Zoom just after 9 a.m. Two hours later, he was gone. The Bears made it official by sharing statements from general manager Ryan Poles and president/CEO Kevin Warren.
