49ers DC Greg Manusky to interivew with the panthers

Richardson listed what he wants in head coach during his interview. Someone that will be a disciplinarian and that will follow the front office lead. Hurney even said they interviewed Fox wrong and wont make that mistake again. It wont be a interview in which the coach comes in and tells the Panthers what he wants to do. Hurney will be telling the interviewee this is how it is going to be do you have a problem with that.

So the Front office will dictate what the team does not the HC. The HC will only bring in his playbook and let Hurney and Morrison know what scheme he is planning to run. I wouldnt be surprised if the new head coach will even pick his Coordinators. Look at Pittsburgh you think if Tomlison ever gets fired Lebau is out of a job?

Honestly I wouldnt mind it like that. DC has free rein on his side and Offensive Coordinator his side. HC would be just be there for all the other stuff.

Huddle members requirements for new HC:

Must be offensive-minded (reason being that John Fox was defensive minded so therefore our next coach must be offensive or else he sucks like Fox).

Must have a very aggressive coaching style (reason being that John Fox was conservative so therefore our next coach must be aggressive or else he sucks like Fox).

or how about not suck ass? is that so much to ask for? i certainly wouldnt mind a good D coordinator like Rivera, i dont think anyone would. Fewell, Manusky, and Mcdermott are not good defensive coordinators like Mike Smith and Mike Tomlin were, the stats speak volumes.

with this and fewell, its pretty obvious jerry wants a yes man as his head coach and not someone who can think for himself (IE good). its pretty sad if you think about it. a yes man head coach sucks... ask jerry jones.

Starting to think that our real candidates are being kept on the down-low.

idk about all that

its clear that richardson has lost his mind these past few years. his stubborn attitude of "well my way is the only way, fug what you all say!" has really bitten us on the ass in the past, and it will continue to do so.

unfortunately, fox's usual 7-9 will be a goal in the future instead of a disappointment it seems, luck or no luck...

some people will call me negative, but i really dont have much trust in the panthers FO anymore

This thread has more classic examples of Panther fans thinking their team can do no wrong. Stand up for yourself for once. We can do much better than this scrub. Don't be scared to think that the FO are morons for even interviewing him.

This post is a classic example of our pathetic fanbase that thinks they have even a fuging clue about what makes a good HC.

Seriously, I am thankful some are not the GM on this team because if you are seriously going to base a candidate off of where they coach then you have no idea how to find a HC.

Again, just because a coordinator coached on a team that wasn't in the playoffs doesn't mean that they are bad coaches or would make bad HC. I can give you a couple examples:

1) Mike McCarthy (GB)- Was the offensive coordinator with Mike Nolan in SF and his offense in SF was ranked last in points scored and yards gain and btw, all with rookie QB Alex Smith. Now with the GB and consistently bringing GB in the playoffs.

2) Mike Smith (ATL)- While he kept the Jags defense strong, the team, on the other hand, only made the playoffs a few times during his tenue as DC.

Point being, how about actually giving these guys a shot before shooting them down.
