i wouldnt get him, sure he has a BIG arm, but he's also a slower quarterback who can get sacked alot, i think he's a bad pick at number one overall.

Well yeah, I dont think you would sit and pick him at #1. You would try and trade down and he could be had later.. I guess it depends on where he grades out at the combine. The problem is, if you are taking Mallet, Luck didnt declare, which means who would want to trade up?

Er? Losing that many starters for 5 games next season costs them a lot. Having them leave for the NFL costs them those players for the entire season. Either way, it hurts OSU.

More specifically, it costs them nothing in this bowl game.

Delaying any penalty, and the players having the option to leave the University is a joke.

Tressel thought so, too, hence why he made them make that promise.

It was not his choice. His university may be crooked along with the NCAA, but I think this is the best he could do.

that's my point, who wants to trade up to get Mallett??? honestly, i am not high on Mallett much, he's as mobile as Clausen is and his leadership isnt good and he has maturity questions. Luck should be the guy if he comes out, if he doesnt, i am not really big on the rest of the qbs at number one or even top 3. I rank Newton as 5th best, Gabbert and Locker are neck and neck for 2nd and i have Mallett at 3.
